Daniel Joseph Parent

In loving memory of ET1 SS Daniel Joseph Parent.

Daniel was born in Hartford Connecticut July 14,1964. He lived in Winsted Connecticut, then after graduation moved to Florida before joining the Navy. Daniel served 20 years stationed across the United States and twice overseas, 2 years in Scotland and 3 1/2 years in Bermuda.

Daniel loved spending time with his family, going four-wheeling, glamping with friends and junk-hunting.

Daniel died at St Anthony’s hospital Gig Harbor May 17, 2021. Daniel is survived by his wife Pamela Parent, son Tyler- wife Deanna Parent, Daughter Brenna Parent, Father Herman J. Parent, Mother Patricia Mauer, Brothers Leonard - wife Maureen Parent, and Michael Parent. Daniel also has a large extended family which includes 3 nieces, 2 nephews and 6 great nieces and nephews. Daniel is preceded in death by his Brother Brian Parent and Nephew Travis Arndt.

He will be greatly missed by his family and friends. Daniel’s memorial service is set for June 19, 2021 at 2pm at Adventure of Faith Church (4705 Jackson Ave SE Port Orchard WA). Graveside service will follow on June 21, 2021 at 10 am at Tahoma National Cemetery.
