Daniel Jay Pearson, 46, of Port Orchard, Washington died June 18, 2001 at his home. Daniel was born July 23, 1954 in Port Huron, Michigan to Robert & Mary Jane (Densmore)Pearson.Dan attended St. Anthony Catholic High School in Maui, Hawaii and graduated in 1972. He also attended Kellogg Community College in Battle Creek, Michigan.Dan married Jill A. (Sokolowski) March 31, 1978 in Battle Creek, Michigan and worked as a carpenter and a Coca Cola route salesman in Michigan. He enjoyed sailing and golfing.Surviving is his wife Jill, son Drew Pearson of Port Orchard, Washington; daughters Lani Pearson and Haley Pearson both of Port Orchard; father and step-mother Robert and Kathleen Pearson of Arkansas; brothers Rob Pearson of Port Orchard; Martin and Michael Pearson both of Arkansas; sisters Kellie Noland of Georgia; Karen Pearson of Seattle, Washington; Shevawn Pearson of California; Mary Pearson of Arkansas and Rose Pearson of Arkansas; grandmother Sally Calman of Michigan. Daniel was preceded in death by his mother.Visitation will be held at 6:00PM followed by a rosary at 7:00 PM at Rill Chapel June 24, 2001 and a funeral mass will be June 25, 2001, 10:00 AM at St. Gabriel Catholic Church with interment at Fraola Cemetery in Port Orchard.Memorials may be made to Hospice of Kitsap County P.O.
