Daniel Jacob Varo, 22, of Port Orchard passed away February 7 in Tacoma. He was born September 23, 1983, in Bremerton. He was raised in Beaverton, Oregon, and Port Orchard where he attended South Kitsap schools. He was the owner of D@N Imports and worked part-time at Pizza Factory. He was a member of Northwest Street Racing. Daniel was a kind-hearted person, who would give the shirt off his back to strangers. He loved life with more enthusiasm and gusto than anyone. He loved to work on cars. He had the unique talent of being able to build a whole car, from the frame up, like a Lego set. He was a very social guy, with many friends. He had a great sense of humor. He was a big man, with a littly boy inside, always ready to come out and play. He will be deeply missed by all who loved him. His presence will be in our hearts forever. He was preceded in death by his sister, Lydia Varo. He is survived by his parents, Ernest and Debra Martsching of Port Orchard, and Donald and Cheryl Varo of Mossyrock; a brother, Mike Wittenberger of Mukilteo; brother-in-law, Brian Bays of Beaverton, Oregon; sisters, Deanne Bays of Beaverton, Oregon, and Dynelle Varo of Costa Rica; nephew, Tyler Bays of Beaverton, Oregon; a niece, Autumn Bays of Beaverton, Oregon; and many aunts, uncles, cousins and hundreds of friends. Services: 2 p.m. Friday at Rill's Life Tribute Center. Visitation: 2 .m. to 5 p.m. Wednesday at Rill's Life Tribute Center. Inurnment: 11 a.m. February 25 at Grand Mound Cemetery in Rochester. Memorial donations: any Key Bank location.
