Daniel Matthew Wilder of Port Orchard, Washington died at his home December 8, 2005 due to heart problem. He was 56. Daniel was born in Bremerton, Washington February 21, 1949 to Alfred and Jean (Matthews) Wilder. He attended South Kitsap High School in Port Orchard, Washington. Daniel worked at Brush Shed in Port Orchard, Washington - harvesting evergreens for 35 years. He picked brush - worked for DSHS - employed at Bangor as care giver for DSHS with disabled and elderly clients. He was also a mechanic - 20 years self employed. Daniel enjoyed fishing and camping. He spent his spare time with grandchildren and friends. His long time companion (36 years) and mother of children, Judy (Kimple) Kasler, resides at the Port Orchard, Washington family home. Daniel is survived by sons - Jeff (Erin) Kasler of Tacoma, Washington, Donald Kasler; daughter - Jennifer Kelley (Robert) of Port Orchard, Washington; brothers - Alfred Wilder (Cheryl) of Port Townsend, Washington, Jay Wilder (Tina) of Port Orchard, Washington, Mike Wilder (Bryna) of Port Orchard, Washington, Lee Pickle of Pennsylvania; 6 grandchildren (K.C. Kasler, Kristina Kasler, Caitlyn Kelley, Kirstyn Kelley, Aiden Kelley, Ayla Sprague); friends - Minh Huynh and Ellen Bush; numerous nephews and nieces. He was preceded in death by: nephew - Joseph Wilder; sisters - Judy Rose, Karen Kohler and Connie Dlugos; brother - Frank Wilder. A memorial service will be held Thursday, December 15, 2005 at 2:00 p.m. at Rill's Life Tribute Center in Port Orchard, Washington. He attended South Kitsap High School in Port Orchard, Washington.
