Former Winchester Idaho Resident Passes Away
Danny J. Stevens, 62, passed away on September 1, 2022 at St. Michael’s Hospital in Silverdale, WA. Danny was fighting – not feeling his best for over 18 months. His battle ended with stage 4 pancreatic cancer.
Danny was born in Cottonwood, Idaho and was preceded in death by his mother Juanita, father Joseph, brother Clifford, and nephew Michael.
Danny spent over forty years working as a computer engineer for subbase Bangor, Puget Sound Naval Shipyard, Microsoft and S4K global solutions.
He also loved all forms of music and was a member of the Pride of Puget Sound West High School Band. He was a member of several chapters of Toastmasters, a member of Bremerton WA Order of DeMolay receiving the Chevalier Degree, and was looking forward to becoming a Master Mason.
Danny leaves his sister Bernice Zachau and brother in law Jim Zachau; PO Box 2070, Belfair WA 98528.
Danny has requested that there be no memorial and in lieu of flowers, please send contributions to Pancreatic Cancer Research.
