Darwin Kenneth Campbell passed away on March 22, 2019, peacefully in his sleep. He was born to Louella Elizabeth Mewhorter and James Henry Campbell on October 6, 1952 in Seattle, Washington, the youngest of 5 children. He attended Evergreen High School, where he made lifelong friends. He graduated from Evergreen HS in 1971. In August of 1971 Darwin enlisted in the US Navy. He was aboard the USS Oriskinay in Vietnam. He left the Navy in August of 1974. He began working for Fittings Inc in Seattle on October 31, 1978 where he was employed until he retired in 2016.
On October 8, 1977 Darwin married Kathleen Crawford. They had two children, Keith Campbell and Emily (Ryan) Myers. On June 24, 2000 Darwin married Jacqueline Halasz. His family grew to include stepchildren Scott Halasz and Steven Halasz.
Over the years Darwin often traveled visit family. Darwin’s favorite thing was riding his motorcycle and visiting with family and friends.
Darwin was loved very much and will be missed tremendously.
Darwin was preceded in death by his parents, his brothers David G Campbell and Robert L Campbell. He is survived by his children and their families, his brother Ron and sister Nadine, and many nieces and nephews.
