Daryl Meigs

Daryl L. Meigs died at Harrison Memorial Hospital in Bremerton, Washington on October October 25, 2003. He was 43.Daryl was born June 13, 1960 in Bremerton, Washington to Bill and Mary (Ady) Meigs.He graduated from Bremerton High School in Bremerton, Washington in 1978.Daryl was formerly employed with K2 Corporation on Vashon Island as a mold maintenance technician for 23 years. He retired in 2001.He loved to fish and camp and enjoyed collecting McCoy Pottery.Daryl is survived by his companion, Meagan Hooks, of Olalla, Washington; his mother - Mary Meigs of Port Orchard, Washington; brothers - Bill Meigs of Olalla, Washington, Paul Meigs (& wife, Ceri) of Bremerton, Washington; sister - Ruth Trigg (& husband, Curtis) of Port Orchard; nine nieces and nephews; and long-time friend - Jeff Veach of Olalla. He was preceded in death by his father - Bill Meigs.A memorial service will be held at 11:00 a.m. on Sunday, November 2, 2003 at Rill Chapel's Life Tribute Center in Port Orchard.
