David Frank Guidi

David Frank Guidi, 57, of Port Orchard, WA, unexpectedly passed away on October 5, 2012, from a pulmonary embolism at St. Anthony's Hospital in Gig Harbor, WA.
David grew up in Belfair, WA, and graduated from North Mason High School in 1973 where he participated in athletics and other school activities. He attended Olympic College for 2 years, transferred to Western Washington University and received his Bachelors Degree in Education.
David married his wife Elaine of 35 years on July 10, 1977 in Silverdale, WA. They moved to Port Orchard, WA, in 1979 where their daughter Amanda was born in 1982.
David worked in the grocery business for the past 40 years. The majority of that was as the Produce Manager at the Belfair QFC.
David had a positive outlook on life and was always willing to help others.
His interests included magic tricks, musical theatre and everything Disney. But the most important thing to him was family.
David is survived by his wife Elaine and daughter Amanda of Port Orchard; his father Arthur and mother Elaine of Belfair; his sister Linda of Tacoma and her husband Jon and their two children Zachary and Riley; his brother Gregg of Port Orchard and his wife Debbie and their dog Bogart.
David is also survived by his wife's parents Frank and Julanne Killinger of Bremerton; his brother-in-law Mark and his wife Lois of Richland, WA, and their three children Julia, Ben and Bryan.
The celebration of David's life will be held on Sunday, October 14, at 3 pm at Christian Life Center, 1780 Lincoln Ave SE, Port Orchard. Online memorial at www.rill.com .
In the near future the Guidi family will establish a scholarship fund at North Mason High School in David's name.
