David Olson

David Quist Olson died in Bremerton, Washington July 30, 2002. He was 62.He was born September 19, 1939 in Worcester, Massachusetts to Chester and Alice (Quist) Olson.David graduated from Wachusett Regional High School in Holden, Massachussets in 1957; and attended WPI and Clark University both of Worcester, Massachussetts.He served in the United States Air Force; and, was a computer consultant for various banking and financial institutions - retiring after forty plus years.He married Ruth (Moore) Olson March 31, 1973 in Irving, Texas.He was a model railroader, studied the operation and functions of the organ as a musical instrument. David was a member of the First Baptist Church of Worcester.He is survived by his wife Ruth, step-sons Randy and Greg Finn all of Port Orchard, Washington, daughters Robin and Karen Olson of Ellensburg, Washington, brother Paul Olson of Ocala, Florida (formerly of Worcester) and grandson Jordan Mayberry.Arrangements for a memorial service in Worcester, Massachusetts are pending.
