David Olund

David Wayne Olund, 49, died at home in Poulsbo on February 17, 2010.  He was born February 23, 1960 in Kirkland, WA to Donald & Sylvia (Rogers) Peterson.  He graduated from Central Kitsap HS in Silverdale in 1978. David lived in his own house on Steve & Sandy's property where he worked along side Steve in the wood cutting business.  He also served in the U.S. Navy. David enjoyed his cat Sherbert. Surviving are his parents Sylvia (Mike) Peterson of Port Orchard & Don Olund of Milwaukie, OR; sister Deanna (Mark) Hunter & children Justin & Kristin, all of Port Orchard; grandmother Ann Rogers of West Seattle; Aunts & Uncles Roy Olund of Seattle, Rita Kiene of Farr West, UT & Kathy (Terry) Sundberg of Winlock, WA; long time friends Steve & Sandy Gregerson, Chuck Hamil, Brett Hinson, Greg Hewlit, and childhood friend Doug Hamilton.  He was preceded in death by Grandparents Ethel & Sigward Olund, Jack & Lillian Redding & Sid Rogers; Aunt Jean Gulick; friends Merle Stedman & Buddy Boyner. Graveside service at 3:00pm on Saturday, February 27, 2010 at Sunset Lane Memorial Park's Reflection Pathway in Port Orchard.  Memorials to Kitsap Mental Health Services in David's memory.
