David D. Scarborough, Age: 67, of Port Orchard, Washington, died on December 23, 2001 at his home. He was born May 17, 1934 in Allene, Arkansas to Charles and Flossie(Fitzgibbons) Scarborough.David graduated from Jefferson High School in Daly City, California in 1952. He married Carole L. Cooper on May 22, 1953 in Daly City. Mr. Scarborough worked as a tool and die maker for 37 years, retiring in 1995. He was a member of the International Association of Machinist and Aerospace Workers. He enjoyed fishing and gardening.Survivors include his wife, Carole; a son, David D. Scarborough of Port Orchard; two daughters, Robin Alexander of Port Orchard, and Nancy Garcia of Oakley, California; two brothers, Charles Scarborough of Reno, Nevada, and Denzel Scarborough of Richmond, California; a sister, Maxine Rhodes of Ashdown, Arkansas; and four grandchildren.A memorial service is planned for 2 p.m., Saturday, December 29, 2001, at Rill Chapel, Pendleton-Gilchrist Funeral Home.Memorial donations may be made to Hospice of Kitsap County, Post Office Box 3416, Silverdale, Washington, 98383-3416.Arrangements are under direction of Rill Chapel, Pendleton-Gilchrist Funeral Home and Crematory.
