David Grant Southard

Mr. Southard was born August 24,1941 to Chester and Betty Southard.

He graduated from South Kitsap High School. He went on to the Boeing Company and eventually Olympic College to finish his studies for his CPA exam.

David was hired by Harry Dahlners accounting as a bookkeeper, eventually followed by his CPA. After Mr. Dahlner retired, David took over the business. Soon after a few partners joined the team, Christopher Beckham and Kim Atwater. He always said he hired the best people and over the years other partners and team members have joined.

His hobbies during retirement were his beloved boating, golfing and bowling. David and his wife Nicki spent most winters in Palm Desert, CA. although kept their home in Port Orchard and returned every spring.

He was preceded in death by his parents, son Terry and sister Christine.

The family he leaves behind are his wife Nicki Southard, his children Guy Southard (Liz), Jennifer Herdrich (Dave), Jill Kostomay and Jeff Heuer. Grandchildren, Courtney, James, Jack, Jordan, Alyssa and Heather and great grandsons Jon and Ryan.

He will be profoundly missed and forever in our hearts.
