David Warren

David Lee Warren, 60, formerly of Enumnclaw, Washington, died at his home in Port Orchard, Washington on October 30, 2006. He was born on October 26, 1946 in Seattle, Washington to Austin & Phyllis (Anthony) Warren. He attended Mt. Rainier High in Des Moines and South Kitsap High School in Port Orchard. David married Gayle Cooley on July 1, 1983 in Enumclaw, Washington. David was a finish carpenter and custom home contractor. He worked for many years in the construction trade with his father and then branched out on his own to form his own construction company building custom homes. He worked for Weyerhauser in the White River Mill doing custom carpentry projects. He was recognized in the area for his expertise in finish carpentry. David was a member of the Model "T" Club and enjoyed woodworking in his shop. He had a great love for his property and cabin on Rock Lake just out of Eureka, Montana. Surviving are his wife Gayle; son David Burns Warren of Rochester, Washington; stepson Bryan Sager of Mukilteo, Washington; stepdaughters Patti Jones of Tacoma, Washington, Joanne Veltung of Buckley, Washington, and Julie Zimmerman of Oceanside, California;; mother Phyllis Warren of Bonney Lake, Washington; brothers Larry (Cindy) of Wilkinson, Washington, Rob (Terry) of Dutch Harbor, Alaska, Paul (Laura) of Ketchikan, Alaska, and Dale (Shelley) of Bonney Lake; sister Marcie (Ed) Weaver of Star Lake, Washington; and 9 grandchildren. Memorial service will be at 3:00 p.m. on Thursday, November 2, 2006 at the Puyallup Foursquare Church in Puyallup, Washington.
