Deabee Blum

DeaBee Blum, 68, a resident of Gig Harbor died at her home of cancer on May 14, 2009. She was born in Omaha, NE on February 8, 1941 to Charles and Ruth (Hisaw) Reynolds. The family later moved to Spokane and she attended school at Rogers HS. She married Robert Blum in Cour d’ Alene, ID on June 19, 1971. DeaBee was a home maker and a Christian and life member of the Veterans of Foreign Wars Auxiliary, Port Orchard Eagles and TOPS. She liked to crochet and enjoyed family gatherings, bird watching and feeding and her pet dog Missy. She was preceded in death by a sister Charlene Wagner. She is survived by her loving husband Robert; son Rodney Decker of Tacoma; daughters Bonnie Rosco (Russell) of Lynnwood, Kathleen Towne of CA and RenaLea Barrier (John) of Port Orchard; sister Joan Amborn (Mike); six grandchildren Stacy Smith, Kymberly Smith, David Bagby (Wendy), Christopher Bagby, Dianalea Rock, Christina Towne and one great-grandchild Skylar Smith. Celebration of Life will be at Rill’s Life Tribute Center in Port Orchard on Monday, May 18, 2009 at 2:00 pm. In lieu of flowers donations may be made to Franciscan Hospice 2901 Bridgeport Way West, University Place, WA 98466.
