Dean Barker

Dean Rogers Barker was born in Puyallup on February 5, 1961 to Wayne R. and Shirley A. (Snyder) Barker. He spent most of his life in Western WA. Dean worked as an electrician and supervisor that helped the construction and modifications of many school buildings and edifices throughout Pierce County and was a skilled mechanic. He enjoyed fishing, camping and anything outdoors. When life was simpler, he really enjoyed playing video games with his children. He went back into the hands of our loving and merciful God on September 7, 2012. Dean will be missed by family and friends.  He is survived by two children; son Ryan (Michelle) Barker and their children Levi and Kennedi, daughter Tiffany Barker; sister Cynthia Kramer (David); brother Lynn Barker (Sonja); nieces Candace (Aaron) Houser, Brandy (Adam) Kramer and Morgan Barker.  Graveside service will be held: Monday, September 17th, 2012, 2:00 at Fir Lane Memorial Park, 924 E 176th St, WA  98387. Due to the nature and suddenness of his tragic death, the children could use financial assistance in lieu of flowers.
