We are sad to announce that DeAnn Marie Larson passed away September 9, 2021. She will be missed tremendously by all that had the privilege to know and love her. She was born October 21, 1941 to James and Bernice Vandeberg. She grew up on a farm in eastern Montana with a big loving family. She graduated from Bainville high school in 1960 with her twin brother Denny. After high school she went to work for western bell telephone company In Williston North Dakota. On April 7, 1963 she married Arlen T. Larson. By 1970 she had three children she adored, cherished and deeply loved. She started working for South Kitsap school district in 1974 and was the playground attendant and eventually moved into the office. She began working for group health in 1978 as lead receptionist and continued that job until she retired in 1995. Group health went to computers in 1993 and my mom lead and tackled that transition like a pro. She also headed the volunteer program and loved it. She very much looked forward to all the holidays and birthdays and special occasions with her family. She loved being a mother, grandmother and great grandmother. She was also mom to a little dog called Cody that she adored to the moon and back. She was a master in the kitchen and kept an immaculate house at all times. Her passion was family, friends and always staying busy. She was preceded in life by her entire immediate family and husband. She is survived by her three children and four grandchildren.
