Debra Rasmussen

Debra R. Rasmussen, 43 of Port Orchard died February 4, 1999 at Harrison Memorial Hospital in Bremerton.  She was born April 18, 1955 in Rockford, IL and was raised in Mt. Morris, IL  moving to Port Orchard in 1992.  She graduated from the University of Southern Illinois in 1977 with a Bachelor of Arts Degree.  Debra married Gerald Rasmussen June 10, 1981 in Boulder, Colorado.  Most recently she worked as a Sales Associate with Arnold's Lazy Boy Furnishings in Bremerton and was a South Kitsap School Board member from 1994 to 1998.  She was an active member of the Republican Party of Kitsap County and member of Port Orchard Yacht Club and St. Bedes Episcopal Church in Port Orchard.Surviving are her husband; son Benjamin & daughter Natalie of the family home; and brother William Allenfort of Brookland, New York.  Memorial service February 9, 1999 at 2:30 PM at Rill Chapel in Port Orchard.  Inurnment at Sunset Lane Cemetery in Port Orchard.  Memorials to Debra Rasmussen Scholarship Fund, South Kitsap School District, 1962 Hoover Avenue SE, Port Orchard, WA 98366.
