Debra Lee Workman

Debora Lee Workman was born in Bremerton, WA on August 23, 1970, to William and Muriel Workman. She passed away May 26, 2024, from complications from diabetes and illness. She was a Port Orchard resident her whole life and graduated from South Kitsap High School in 1989. Deb worked for Safeway for over 20 years and retired with disability in 2013. Growing up Deb showed Jersey Dairy cows in 4-H and FFA, she loved baking with her mama making breads and cookies. Deb and her dad loved fishing for salmon and trout down at the Cowlitz river or lake fishing. She loved animals and was always surrounded by them. Deb was also an avid sports fan, especially baseball and loved country music. She was loved by so many with her happy smile and outgoing personality, she was a happy light in this world. Deb was the best Auntie to her niece Piper and Nephew Noah Lowery; they filled her heart with so much joy and hope. Deb was proceeded in death by her parents William and Muriel Workman, her grandparents on both sides, her Aunt Margaret Dyer, Aunt Beverly (Paul) Port, Uncle Gorden Gilman and niece Piper Lowery. Deb is survived by Aunt and Uncle Dick and Marge Workman, Doug and Jean Clark, Kerry and Dixie Hansen, Aunt Jackie Gilman, Sister (Mom’s twins’ daughter) Pegy Lowery and numerous cousins. Memorial service and reception will follow on June 22, 2024 @1pm at Bethany Lutheran Church, 151 Tremont Ave, Port Orchard, WA 98366. Cards can be sent to Bethany Lutheran Church Attn: Pegy Lowery
