Dema "Dee" Olive Hamill of Port Orchard, Washington died at her residence November 4, 1002. She was 85. She was born August 19, 1919 in Big Rock, Illinois to Orville and Goldie (Callahan) Holt. Dee married Francis B. "Pat" Hamill July 1, 1938 in Rockford, Illinois. He died in 1982. She graduated from Belvidere High School in Belvidere, Illinois. She worked as an electronics technician with Woodward Governor Co. of Rockford, Illinois; and, worked as a sales consultant with Charles V. Weise Co. of Rockford, Illinois. Dee was a member of The Church of Jesus Christ of Latter-day Saints, Sinclair View Ward in Port Orchard, Washington. She is survived by son - Larry J. Hamill (& wife, Ann) of Salmon, Idaho; daughter - Kathleen Hamill of Port Orchard, Washington; brother - Roy Holt of Havana, Illinois, Irvin Holt and Lester Holt (both of Rockford, Illinois); sisters - Geneva Hursh and Cecelia Moore (both of Rockford, Illinois); 7 grandchildren (Sean P., Timothy S., Kevin J. Brian M., and Brendan C. Hamill, Kate Johnson, and Maura Mitchell); 14 great-grandchildren. She was preceded in death by: husband - Orville Holt, grandson - Ken Krug, brothers - Harry, Mervin and Bill Holt. A Memorial Service will be held at The Church of Jesus Christ of Latter-day Saints, 1550 Hoover Ave., Port Orchard, Washington on July 6, 2004 at 2:00 p.m.
