Dewey P. Anderson, 81, of Port Orchard, WA, died August 28, 2004, at his home of Parkinson's Disease. Dewey was born October 23, 1922 in Eastside, OR, to Dewey N. and Joan (McHale) Anderson. He graduated from Marshfield High School in Coos Bay, OR, in 1940. After school, Dewey served in the US Navy and then worked as a long haul truck driver out of Coos Bay retiring in 1965 after 20 years. Dewey enjoyed horse trading, goats, and chickens. He loved being with his grandchildren, family and friends. Survivors include his daughter Mary Ann Potts and her husband Daniel, of Port Orchard; and 3 grandchildren, Darcy Potts, of Alaska, Joan Potts, of North Dakota, and John Potts, of Florida. Dewey was preceded in death by a granddaughter, Darla Potts in 1981. A private interment will be at Sunset Lane Memorial Park in Coos Bay, OR.
