Dickie Ness

Dickie Ray Ness, 63, of Port Orchard died at his residence June 11, 2008.  He was born June 19, 1944 in Bremerton to Ray and Louise (Gehring) Ness.  He graduated from South Kitsap High School in 1962 and received his Bachelor of Arts degree in accounting from the University of Puget Sound in Tacoma.Dickie was an accountant for Ron Ness and Associates in Port Orchard, was a member of Christian Life Center in Port Orchard and enjoyed cribbage, reading and fishing. Dickie was preceded in death by his daughter Heather Leigh Ness in 1975. He is survived by his mother Louise Ness of Port Orchard; sons Steve (Rene) Ness of Bellingham and Eric (Myrihe) Ness of Amboy, WA;  daughters Kristin  (Steve) Olsen of Duval and Jamie (James) Watson of Port Orchard; brother Ron Ness of Port Orchard; sister, Floy (Bill) Ziegler of  Seattle; and five grandchildren- Collin, Katie, Dugan, Heather, and Gracie. Memorial services will be held at 2 pm Monday June 16, 2008 at Christian Life Center, 1780 S.E. Lincoln Ave. in Port Orchard.  Private Inurnment will be at Haven of Rest Memorial Park in Gig Harbor.
