She was 84.She was born July 7, 1918 in Chehalis, Washington to Fred and Annie (Sowards) Richard.Dixie graduated from Chehalis Senior High School in Chehalis,Washington in 1933.She married George Park in Portland, Oregon in 1967.Dixie is survived by her son - Jim Heay of Port Orchard, Washington; brother - Tom Richard of Fairbanks, Alaska; sisters - Doll Holtman of Centralia, Washington and Marge Greer of Mossyrock, Washington; 3 grandchildren: Alethea Heay, Timber Heay, Christopher Heay; and 2 great-grandchildren: Lilith and Antonia Heay Stewart. She was preceded in death by Douglas "Timber" Heay, son; Katherine Smith, sister; Wanda Jean Barrick, sister; Mary Chipman, sister; Geroge Richard, brother; Dick Richard, brother.A memorial service will be held at Rill Chapel's Life tribute Center, Port Orchard, Washington at 11:00 a.m. on Friday, April 25, 2003.
