Doctor Middleton

Doctor Thomas Taylor Middleton of Port Orchard, Washington died October 13, 2004 at Harrison Memorial Hospital in Bremerton, Washington. He was 86. He was born January 3, 1918 in Tacoma,Washington to Allen and Anna (Gaynor) Middleton. He married Carol (Hendrickson) Middleton February 11, 1944 in Chicago, Illinois. Thomas graduated from Stadium High School in Tacoma, Washington, the University of Washington in Seattle, Washington and Northwestern Medical School in Chicago, Illinois. He served in the U.S. Army during WWII - attaining rank of Captain in the Army Medical Corps. He had a medical practice in Port Orchard, Washington for many years - retiring in 1985. Dr. Middleton was a member of the Kitsap Medical Society; enjoyed his family, golf and following local sport teams. He was a member of St. Gabriel Catholic Church in Port Orchard, Washington. He is survived by wife - Carol (Hendrickson) Middleton of the Port Orchard, Washington family home; sons - Thomas Middleton, Jr. (& wife, Carol) of Seattle, Michael Middleton (& wife, Billi) of Port Orchard, Washington, Patrick Middleton of Bainbridge Island, Washington; daughter - Mary Berger (& husband, Tom) of Seattle; brother - Harry E. Middleton of Gig Harbor, Washington; 10 grandchildren (Chris Berger, Heidi Adams, Molly Ruddy, Ashley Berger, Michelle Murray, Carri Middleton, Tiffany Middleton, Scott Middleton, Kelsey Middleton and Connor Middleton); 1 great-grandchild - Elly Berger. A viewing will be held at Rill Chapel's Life Tribute Center in Port Orchard, Washington on October 15, 2004 from 5:00 - 7:00 p.m. A Rosary will be held at Rill Chapel's Life Tribute Center on October 15, 2004 at 7:00 p.m. A Mass will be held at St. Gabriel Catholic Church in Port Orchard, Washington on October 16, 2004 at 10:00 a.m. Interment will be held at Sunset Lane Memorial Park in Port Orchard following the Mass.
