Donald Lee Blair died July 22, 2003 in Coos Bay, Oregon due to an accident. He was 48.He was born October 22, 1954 in Seattle, Washington to Leo and Ruby (White) Blair.He graduated from Edgewater High School in 1971; and, also graduated from the University of Florida in Gainesville, Florida in 1976.Donald married Susan "Nikki" (Nicodemus) Blair September 23, 1975 in Manti, Utah.He worked as a general contractor in Blair Construction of Port Orchard, Washington. He was former project manager with Pirie Construction, Lugo Construction, and Kirtley - Cole Construction Companies. He worked for 36 years.Donald was a member of American Motorcycle Association, Washington Motorcycle Road Racing Association, Washington Old Timers Motocross Association. He loved motorcycling, "If you can put gas in it, I can ride it!" He loved his family and his dog. He was also an adventure enthusiast, and enjoyed hiking, fishing and coaching sports.He was a member of The Church of Jesus Christ of Latter-day Saints in Port Orchard.Donald is survived by his wife, Susan "Nikki" (Nicodemus) Blair, of the family home in Port Orchard, Washington; father - Leo V. Blair of Fairbanks, Alaska; daughters - Celeste Blair of Port Orchard and Cerissa Blair of Port Orchard and Pullman, Washington; sisters - Paula Williams of Long Beach, California and Kathy Blair of Huntington Beach, California.He was preceded in death by his mother - Ruby Blair.A viewing will be held July 26, 2003 from 9:00 a.m. to 11:00 a.m. at Rill Chapel's Life Tribute Center of Port Orchard, Washington.A memorial service will be held Saturday, July 26, 2003 at 11:00 a.m. at Rill Chapel's Life Tribute Center.Memorial donations may be made to:Injured Riders Foundation(253) 630 7429
