Don Clark passed away peacefully in the presence of family at the Kitsap County Hospice Care Center in Bremerton, Washington on November 22, 2013. He was born in Geddes, South Dakota on February 20, 1930.
After serving in the U S Army, Don and family settled in Port Orchard, Washington where he has been for over 60 years. He retired from PSNS as an electrician, real estate agent, volunteer fireman, owner of Blue & Gold Taxi, retired as a bus driver for South Kitsap Schools.
He enjoyed many interests, riding motorcycles, hunting, bowling, horses, garage sales, camping, country music, western movies, wheeling and dealing and his four furry friends.
He was preceded in death by his wives, Grace and Nadine; daughter Debbie Clark; 4 brothers; and his parents.
He is survived by his children, Donny Clark (Joanne), Christine Philips, Tammy Clark, Heath Clark (Judy); 10 grandchildren; 9 great grandchildren; Ima Jean Menefee who has been his companion for the last 20 years; and his brother Kenneth Swalander (Peggy) and extended family.
A Celebration of Don’s life will be held at Rill Chapel, 1151 Mitchell Ave, Port Orchard, WA 98366 at 2:30 PM on December 11, 2013.
