Don Diebolt, 48, died at his home in Port Orchard, Washington on June 4, 2000. He was born in Dearborn, Michigan on May 26, 1952 to George & Catherine (Norton) Diebolt. He graduated from high school in Dearborn in 1970. Don married Kelly Greene Conner on October 8, 1988 in Port Orchard, Washington.Mr. Diebolt was employed for 18 years as a Marine Machinery Mechanic at the Puget Sound Naval Shipyard in Bremerton, Washington. He served in the U.S. Naval Reserve as a Warrant Officer 2, earning the Navy Achievement Medal and Naval Reserve Meritorius Service Medal. Don was a member of the Knights of Columbus and St. Gabriel Catholic Church in Port Orchard. He also served as an adult scout leader.Surviving are his wife; son Matt Greene of Port Orchard; mother Alice Diebolt; brothers Mike, Pat, and Tim Diebolt all of Michigan, and Rick Diebolt of Orlando, Florida;and sister Sue Lynch of Michigan.Memorial Services will be held on Friday, June 9, 2000 at Rill Chapel in Port Orchard at 3:00 PM.
