Donald William Gellatly died at Harrison Memorial Hospital in Bremerton, Washington June 27, 2003. He was 72.He was born to William J. and Betty (Eilertsen) Gellatly July 21, 1930 in Tacoma, Washington.He married Gloria (Swanson) Gellatly April 10, 2001 in Laughlin, Nevada.Donald graduated from Stadium High School in Tacoma, Washington in 1948. He attended University of Washington in Seattle, Washington.He served in the U.S. Navy from 1948 - 1952 and attained the rank of Electrician Mate 3rd Class.Donald owned Knarr Tavern in University District, Seattle for 27 years.He was a member of Lake City Elks and Lakeland Golf Club. He will be dearly missed by his family and friends!Donald is survived by his wife, Gloria (Swanson) Gellatly of the Allyn, Washington family home; son - Rodney Perez of Montlake Terrace, Washington; daughters - Rochelle Guimont of Tahuya, Washington and Reggie Perez of Bothel, Wasington; sister - Billie Ann Crabtree of Tacoma, Washington; Step-children - Randy Lenac, John Lenac, Kathy Lenac Combs; 4 grandchildren: Rodney Perez, Jr., R.J. Guimont, Brittney Perez, Chase Perez. He was preceded in death by Laila Gellatly - wife and Rick Lenac - Step-son.A Celebration of Life memorial service will be held 12:00 noon July 10, 2003 (Thursday) at Rill Chapel's Life Tribute Center.Donations may be made to your favorite charity.
