Donald Russell Hughes

Donald Russell Hughes, born January 3, 1933,
went home to our Lord February 9, 2013.
Don was born in Kansas City, Kansas to Russell and Irma
Hughes. He is survived by his wife of 36 years, Berni
Hughes; his sister, Karen Clark; 5 children, 4 step
children and numerous grandchildren and
great-grandchildren. He worked for the National Weather
Service as a meteorological technician and managed the
SeaTac weather service office for many years. His love for
gardening and his animals was only surpassed by his love
of his family & his Lord Jesus Christ. Throughout his 80
years, laughter and adventure followed wherever he went.
He was a wonderful and faithful husband and father who
will be missed by all who knew him.
Services will be held Saturday, February 16th at the
Belfair Community Baptist Church and 11AM. A memorial webpage can be accessed at www.rill.com
