Donald D. Murray, Sr. died June 28, 2002 at the Regional Hospital in Tukwila, WA. following complications of heart disease. He was 77.He ws born in Bluedett, MN on March 20, 1925 to Clarence and Martha (Miller) Murray.He graduated from Bremerton High School in Bremerton, WA. in 1943; and, attended Olympic College in Bremerton, WA.He marrried Donna M. Jurgens June 7, 1947 in Bremerton, WA.He served in the U.S. Navy from 1943 - 1946. Was a Pharmacist's Mate Second Class and was awarded the Asiatic Pacific Area Campaign Medal and WWII Victory Medal.He was a Supply Supervisor at Puget Sound Naval Shipyard for 30 years and retired in 1980.He was interested in boating, salmon fishing and family.He is survived by his wife Donna Murray of Port Orchard, WA., son Donald Murray, Jr. of Gig Harbor, WA., daughter Dee Ann Broome of Port Orchard, WA., sister Margaret Peterson of Port Orchard, WA., 6 grandchildren: Camille Ludlow of Gig Harbor, WA., Meagan Schultz of Port Orchard, WA., Kyle Hudson, Kory Hudson, Kellen Hudson and Bryce Broome all of Port Orchard, WA., and several nieces and nephews.A gathering of family and friends to be scheduled.Donations may be made to:American Lupus Society23751 Madison StreetTorrance, CA. 90505
