Donald Rasmason

Donald L. Rasmason died January 15, 2003 at Cottesmore of Life in Gig Harbor, Washington. He was 89.He was born July 19, 1913 in Fort Bragg, California to Paul and Reginald (Williams) Rasmason.He served in the U.S. Navy from 1941 through 1945.Donald married Christine (Campbell) Rasmason July 7, 1945 in Annapolis, California.He worked in building maintenance in Oroville, California for the Parks and Recreation Department.He enjoyed RVing to Arizona; walking; working hard and staying active.Donald is survived by his wife, Christine (Campbell) Rasmason, of the Gig Harbor family home; daughters - Fae Smith and Renea Smith both of Olalla, Washington, and Gail Honeysuckle of Gig Harbor, Washington; brothers - Buddy Rasmason and Nip Rasmason both of Santa Rosa, California; sister - Aletha Rasmason of Santa Rosa, California; 8 grandchildren (Brian and Jeff Smith, Dennis Smith, Jennifer McCarter, Shelly, Steven, David, and Dustin Honeysuckle); and, 7 great-grandchildren.There will be a private family gathering.
