Doris Irwin

Doris E. Irwin, 75 of Olalla, Washington died at Ridgemont Terrace Care Center in Port Orchard, Washington on October 24, 2000. She was born on January 13, 1925 in Napavine, Washington to Arthur and Ethel (Thompson) Buzzell. Doris graduated from South Kitsap Union High School in Port Orchard in 1945. She married William S. Irwin in El Paso, Texas. He preceded her in death in 1977.Mrs. Irwin worked as a Toolroom Attendant at Puget Sound Naval Shipyard in Bremerton, Washington for 23 years, retiring in 1970. She enjoyed working with ceramics after her retirement.Surviving are sons Paul Browning and Mike Browning, both of Port Orchard; 3 grandchildren; and 2 great-granchildren. She was preceded in death by son Dennis Browning.A private memorial service will be held by the family.
