Doris M. Smith of Gig Harbor, Washington died January 23, 2005 at Merrill Gardens Alzheimer Care Facility in Gig Harbor, Washington. She was 85. She was born October 9, 1919 in San Bernardino, California to Charles and Mamie (Alderson) Bradley. She graduated from San Bernardino High School in San Bernardino, California. While living in California she was employed as a retail clothing sales manager. After moving to Washington State she was employed as a clothing sales clerk with the Bon Marche' in Seattle and a waitress at various restaurants in the area. Doris is survived by daughters - Judith Christie of Redmond, Washington and Donna Sandwick of Tacoma, Washington; brothers - Wayne Bradley of California, John Bradley of Bloomington, California; sister - Connie of California; grandchildren (6): Cathy, Connie, Jason, Cynthia, June and Deborah; great-grandchildren (18). She was preceded in death by husband - Carl L. Smith (who died in 1988)and grandson - Michael Christie. There will be a private service at Cedar Lawn Memorial Park in Redmond, Washington.
