Dorothy Haydon

Dorothy E. Haydon, 75, died at her home in Bremerton, Washington on August 9, 2000. She was born May 29, 1925 in Philadelphia, Pennsylvania to George & Anna (Stepanik) Unruh. Dorothy graduated from Bremerton High School. Dorothy was employed for 30 years as a Machinist for Puget Sound Naval Shipyard in Bremerton, retiring in 1988. She served in the U. S. Army Air Force from 1943 to 1945. She enjoyed boating and camping.Surviving are longtime friend and caregiver Joyce Salvagno of Bremerton; and her brother George Unruh, also of Bremerton.Private interment services will be Friday, August 11, 2000 at Sunset Lane Cemetery in Port Orchard, Washington.
