Dorothy Tucker

Dorothy M. Tucker, 83 of Port Orchard, Washington died on March 13, 2000.  She was born on June 20, 1916 in Seattle, Washington to Harry & Marie (Johnson) Tucker.  Dorothy was raised in Ballard, Washington graduating from Ballard High School in 1934.  She graduated in 1936 from Secretarial School in Seattle.Ms. Tucker worked as a Private Secretary for the Head of Immigration & Naturalization Board, retiring in Seattle in 1971.  She previously worked in offices in Washington, D.C. and Spokane.  She was active in the Eagles Auxiliary.Survivors include brother-in-laws Tom Endsley (Marjorie) of Port Orchard, Washington and Elder Shattuck (Barbara) of Omak, Washington; sister-in-law Lucy Tucker of Port Orchard; and niece Mary Lou Christie of Port Orchard.Visitation will be on Wednesday, March 15th from 3:00 to 7:00pm at Rill Chapel in Port Orchard.  Funeral Service will be Thursday, March 16, 2000 at 10:00am at Rill Chapel with interment following at 1:00pm at Washelli Cemetery in Seattle.
