Dorothy Earline White

June 8, 1929 — March 11, 2021

Dorothy Earline Conner White was born in Dimmitt, Texas on June 8, 1929,
to Woodfin Earl Conner and Simmie Jessie Raper. She had four siblings
including two sisters, Lorene and Doris, and two brothers, Grady and
Quanah.

While living in Oregon, she met and married Arvid Nathaniel White and had
five children, Michael, Timothy, Kerwin, Susan, and Mark.

After living in Oregon while their children were very young, they moved
their family to Kodiak, Alaska where the children grew up. Eventually she
moved to Palmer, Alaska for a number of years before finally moving to
Port Orchard, Washington.

Dorothy loved her family and friends and always looked forward to having
visitors. She had a lovely warm smile and a gentle manner.

She was a talented artist who loved watercolors. Butterflies were a
particular favorite because they represented hopefulness to her. She was
drawn to the autumn colors of brown, orange, and the “happy” color of
yellow. She liked country music and singing old gospel songs, reading her
Bible and listening to gospel teaching on the radio. Her unwavering faith in Jesus was her abiding hope.

Dorothy was preceded in death by her parents, her siblings, Lorene,
Grady, Doris, and Quanah. Also Arvid, then her son, Michael and daughter, Susan.She is survived by sons, Timothy, Kerwin, and Mark, along with their
respective spouses and many grandchildren and great grandchildren.
