Dorothy A. Wiley, 89, of Port Orchard, died March 25 at her residence. Dorothy was born February 11, 1921 in Shellsburg, Iowa to Clyde & Vera Nicodemus. She graduated from South Kitsap HS in 1939 and married Wm. J Wiley June 4, 1942 in Port Orchard. Dorothy was a homemaker an avid gardener and a person that loved to travel and fish. She along with her husband was very active in scouts and became a Boy Scout Den Leader. She is survived by her husband Wm. J. Wiley; 4 sons: William W. (Linda), James M. (Jannelle), Ronald W. (Jane) Wiley all of Port Orchard & Byron N. (Lynn) Wiley of Poulsbo; 2 Brothers: Marvin (Laura) Nicodemus of Poulsbo and Kenneth Nicodemus of Ellensburg and a Sister Lerue Winkleblack of Marshall, Wa. 12 Grandchildren, 27 Great Grandchildren and 12 Great Great Grandchildren. She was preceded in death by a Brother Charles. Graveside Services will be 2pm Saturday, April 3rd at Knights of Pythias Cemetery with a reception following at the Bethel Grange.
