Dorothy Zane

Dorothy G. Zane died October 29, 2002 in Port Orchard, Washington. She was 87.She was born to Daniel and Ethel (Neighbour) MacDonald on April 17, 1915 in Victoria, British Columbia, Canada.She graduated from Belmont High School in Los Angeles, California; and, also graduated from California Baptist College in Riverside, California.She married Merchant Marine Captain Henry E. Zane in Los Angeles, California in 1937.She was a home maker/school teacher.Dorothy was actively envolved with PTA, Girl Scouts, and Boy Scouts, and with her church. While in California and Utah, she enjoyed cooking, baking and canning.She was a member of the Morman Church - Sinclair View Ward, Port Orchard, Washington.Dorothy is survived by son - Timothy Zane of Manzanilla, Mexico; daughters - Susan Lehman of Moapa, Nevada and Judith Dotson of Port Orchard, Washington; and, 6 grandchildren.Services will be held at Veyo, Utah at a time to be determined by her family.
