Douglas Eide

Douglas Glenn Eide, devoted father and grandfather, beloved brother, generous friend and renowned entrepreneur passed away September 19th at his home in Port Orchard. He was born on June 11, 1951 in Fargo, North Dakota. Doug was very successful in life and considered his biggest success to be his daughter Malinda and her wonderful family - husband Paul, children Tanner (9), Hayden (7), and Dane (8 months). His other achievements include twenty years in the real estate industry and co-owner of Spot Realty South Kitsap Properties. He was a member of the City Planning Commission and served as a board member of South Kitsap Helpline. After his retirement, he traveled the United States giving lectures on real estate technology. He is also survived by his six younger siblings; Rick Eide (Catthy), Pam Tucker (Jack), Steve Eide (Debbie), Sandy Scofield (Steve), Jon Eide and Jolee Scott (Chuck), stepsons Riley and Dewey Gibson, grandson R.J. Gibson, plus numerous nephews and nieces. Memorial Services will be held 2:30pm Monday, September 26, at The Christian Life Center in Port Orchard (1780 SE Lincoln Ave). A viewing will be held at Rill's Life Tribute Center in Port Orchard on Monday from 10am to 5pm.
