Duwayne Cowgill

Duwayne Lyle Cowgill died of natural causes October 10, 2002 in Port Orchard, Washington. He was 80.He was born December 20, 1921 in Wenatchee, Washington to Clare and Ellen (McManimum) Cowgill.He served in the Marine Corps as Chief Cook from 1940 - 1943.He married Kathryn E. (Fastje) August 1944 in Havre, Montana.Duwayne worked at Puget Sound Naval Shipyard in sheet metal layout for 30 years - retiring in 1968.He is survived by sons - Clinton Cowgill of Kenai, Alaska and Alan Cowgill of Tacoma, Washington; 6 grandchildren and 7 great-grandchildren. He was preceded in death by his wife Kathryn E. Cowgill.A graveside service will be held at Fraola Cemetery in Olalla, Washington at 11:00 a.m. on Thursday, October 17, 2002.
