E. Earl Morris, 88 of Port Orchard, Washington died on February 19, 2007 in Bremerton, Washington. He was born on October 10, 1918 in Paris, Arkansas to William C. & Laura M. (Keener) Morris. He married Betty M. Duckworth on November 23, 1942 in Springfield, Missouri. Earl retired in 1959 as a Sheetmetal Worker at Puget Sound Naval Shipyard in Bremerton. He served as a Sergeant in the U.S. Army in the South Pacific from 1941 to 1945. Earl loved his numerous cats-currently "Butch", "Peanuts", and "Ashley." He loved his family dearly, especially his grandchildren. As a young man he enjoyed fishing, hunting, and tooling & lacing leather. He was a member of the VFW in Port Orchard and the DAV in Bremerton. Surviving are his wife Betty; daughter Vicki (Barry) Bloomquist of Port Orchard, Washington; grandchildren Robin (Jerry) Clark, Rikki (Dan) Waters, and Darrin (Lisa) Bloomquist; great-grandchildren Brandon, Dillon, Katelynn, Madison, Ryan, and Darrin Jr.; sister-in-laws, many nieces, nephews and friends. He was preceded in death by a sister and seven brothers. Visitation at Rill's Life Tribute Center in Port Orchard on Friday, February 23rd from 10:00 am to 5:00 pm and Saturday, February 24th from 9:00 am to Noon.
