Earl L. Dagnie March 27, 1910 - March 24, 2005 Earl L. Dagnie, 94, of Manchester died Thursday at Harrison Hospital in Bremerton. He was born in St. Louis to Peter and Anna (Cory) Dagnie, attended school in Marysville and received a GED diploma from South Kitsap High School in Port Orchard. He worked as an industrial electrician foreman and superintendent with the International Brotherhood of Electrical Workers union in Bremerton and Seattle for 65 years, retiring in 1980. He married Ina Cushman March 14, 1931, in Everett. She died in 1982. He is survived by his second wife, Winifred (Crampton) Terrell-Dagnie. They were married Dec. 19, 1985, in South Colby. He was a former member of the Fraternal Order of Eagles in Port Orchard. He served as the first water commissioner with the Manchester Water District, was the former secretary and president of the Manchester Community Association and a former Scoutmaster with Troop 536. His interests included boating, salmon fishing, hunting and family research, and he was a member of the Puget Sound Genealogical Society. He attended South Colby United Methodist Church. In addition to his wife, survivors include his sons, Robert and wife Janet of Centralia, and David and wife Gloria of Bellingham; four grandchildren, Lisa, DeDe, Linda and Mark; 12 great-grandchildren; and four great-great-grandchildren. Memorial services are scheduled for 1 p.m. Wednesday at Rill's Life Tribute Center in Port Orchard, with inurnment at Sunset Lane Memorial Park in Port Orchard.
