Earl Stanley Hines Jr

Earl (Stan) Hines Jr., 72 of Port Orchard passed away on March 5, 2017 at his home in Port Orchard. He was born June 24, 1944 in Omaha, Nebraska. Stan served his Country honorably in the United States Marine Corps during the Vietnam War. Prior to serving his Country in Vietnam, Stan worked at PSNS as a welder/weld inspector. After working at PSNS for many years, Stan decided to pursue his passion of farming.
He is survived by his wife, Mary-Irene, daughters Dawn (Steve) Cordes of Hayden, ID, Stephanie (Kevin) Wolfe of Port Orchard, Brenda Hines of Belfair, and son Glenn (Kim) Hines of Port Orchard. Stan also is survived by his seven grandchildren. Graveside service will be at 2 p.m., Thursday, April 13, 2017 at Sunset Lane Memorial Park in Port Orchard.
