Earl Welch

Earl Eugene Welch, 75, of Tracyton died December 31, 1998 in Bremerton, Washington.  He was born June 11, 1923 in Tracyton to Lee R. & Violet M. (Kimball) Welch.  He graduated from Port Washington Bay Union High School in 1941 and married Nancy Ritsch in Coeur D'Alene, Idaho July 21, 1962.  He served during WWII in the U. S. Army earning the Asiatic Pacific Service, Victory & Good Conduct Medals.  He retired as a Truck Driver in 1978.  Earl was a member of the Fraternal Order of Eagles; VFW; and served on the Tracyton Volunteer Fire Department.Survived by his wife; sons Raymond of Tracyton and Steven of Seattle; daughters Sandra Whitney of Tracyton and Teresa Christnacht of Portland, OR; brother Milford 'Pete' Welch of Grayland, WA; 8 Grandchildren; and 1 Great-Granchild.Memorial Service at Holy Trinity Catholic Church in Bremerton at 2:30 on January 6, 1999.  Memorials to Central Kitsap Medic One Foundation, 10955 Silverdale Way NW, Silverdale, WA 98383.
