Earlene Barich

December 14, 1927 — August 6, 2011

Earlene Joyce was born to Earl and Mildred Anderson on Dec. 14, 1927.  On August 6, 2011 her heavenly father took her home. She went peacefully surrounded by her loving family.  She was preceded in death by her husband Andy Barich and her sister Betty Gilden. She is survived by her 8 children  Andrea Gernaat (Larry), Joyce Reece (Eric), Debbie McNerthney (Mark), Dave Barich (Rene), Steve Barich, Vickie VanBoeyen (Bill), Phyllis French (Earl), Greg Barich (Candace); 16 amazing grandchildren; 19 great grandchildren and 1 great-great granddaughter.  She is also survived by her sister Bonnie Cady and brother Ron Anderson.  She was an active member of Women’s Aglow and very involved in her church.  Earlenes passions were gardening, music and her family.  You would often find her singing a tune while perfecting her garden.  She was a strong, hard working woman who never hesitated to tell you like it was.  She loved going to her grandchildren’s numerous events shouting and cheering them on. She was the rock that held her family together.  Always a mother and grandmother to many.  She will always be loved and forever be in the hearts of those she touched.  Memorial to be held on Sat. Aug. 13 at 2:00 pm at Rill Chapel in Port Orchard, WA.  A celebration of life will follow at the Gernaats home.  A very special thank you goes out to all of those involved in our mothers care.  Please make donations to the Earl Anderson Trail, 41 Rocky Top Rd. Yakima, WA  98908
