Edward Bailey

Edward M. Bailey of Manchester, Washington died as the result of a stroke on September 30, 2004 at the home of his daughter - Jean Cooper in Manchester, Washington. He was 99. Edward was born August 10, 1905 in Patch Grove, Wisconsin to Ralph and Florence (Finn) Bailey. He married Ruth (Sites) Bailey June 1, 1925 in Spokane, Washington. Ruth preceded Edward in death in 2000. Kettle Falls, Washington and Colville, Washington served as their main residences from 1925 to 2000. Edward was an extremely talented craftsman whose multifaceted skills are too numerous to list. He was a member of Knights of Pythias. Edward is survived by sons - Donald Bailey of Colville, Washington, Rodger Bailey of Kettle Falls, Washington; daughters - Donna Areheart of Lexington, South Carolina, Jean Cooper of Manchester, Washington; 14 grandchildren; 25 great-grandchildren; 6 great/great-grandchildren. He was preceded in death by: wife - Ruth (Sites) Bailey and by grandson - Terry Fox. There are no services scheduled. Memorial donations may be made to: Royal Family Kids Camps, Inc.
