Edward Mccarthy,

Edward McCarthy, III, age 61, a resident of Port Orchard, died of Lung cancer in his home on January 22, 2008, in the company of his loving wife Shari (Cowart) McCarthy and close friends. He was born in Bridgeport, Connecticut on October 28, 1946. Ed worked as an Engineering Program Manager for Extreme Networks of Santa Clara, California. He was preceded in death his brother Rick McCarthy. Ed is survived by his loving wife Shari; son Edward McCarthy IV of Redding, California; step-daughters Michelle Quarneri (Matthew) of San Jose, California and Robin Wulff (Derrick) of Olympia, Washington; sister Judy Kesler of Hamden, Connecticut; and step-granddaughter Sophia Rose of San Jose, California.
