Edward Reinhardt was born on May 15, 1916 in St. Johns, Oregon and graduated from Rochester High School in 1935.
Edward was a logger and then worked as a machinist for the Federal Government for 25 years.
He was a member of Washington State Mineral Society an avid rock hounder, one of his favorite activities. One of his personal accomplishments was when he designed and created a computer drawn automatic can crusher. With the help of Jerry Schenck and friends, they assembled the parts into a fully functioning automatic can crusher. Edward was known for giving gold dollars to young children he met.
He was very religious, and was a member of Christ the Rock Church. Some of his favorite things to do were church activities.
Some of our fondest memories are our trips together, especially the trips to Hawaii, Arizona and San Diego.
Edward is preceded in death by his wife of 75 years, Lora Reinhardt and his youngest daughter, Eileen Jackson. He is survived by his children, Karen Schenck, Gayle Fogle (Bob) and David Reinhardt (Pam), numerous Grandchildren, Great Grandchildren and Great-great Grandchildren.
