Effie Lynn Harvey, 65 of Port Orchard, Washington died at Harrison Medical Center in Bremerton, Washington July 14, 2007. She was born June 2, 1942 in Lancaster, South Carolina to Sam & Azille (Robinson) Snipes. She completed her high school education in South Kitsap. Effie worked as a Cook for Ridgemont Terrace in Port Orchard and previously owned the Home Tavern for 3 years. She worked on and off her entire life as a Bartender in Port Orchard. Effie was on a bowling league and pool team. She ejoyed ceramics and collected owls & tweety birds. She loved flowers and gardening. Surviving are sons James (Tina) Cassidy, Curtis (Tammy Keesee) Cassidy, and Scott Harvey, all of Port Orchard; daughters Teresa (Don Seaman) Hall of Port Orchard and Rhonda Anderson of Tri-Cities, Washington; brothers Gary (Linda) Shapps and Larry (Diane) Snapps of Lancaster, South Carolina; sister Louis (William) Beckam of Lancaster, South Carolina; grandchildren Harmony, Deana, Jessica, Jolette, Carly & Justin; and great-grandchildren Aury, Payton & Jadyn. She was preceded in death by brothers David & Paul Snapps and nephew Steve Beckam. Funeral Service at 2:00 pm on Friday, July 20, 2007 at Rill's Life Tribute Center in Port Orchard.
