Elaine May Anderson died on October 14, 2013 in Lacey, Washington. A brief illness at The Haven in Allyn, Allyn, Washington, caused her transport to Panorama Convalescent and Rehabilitation Center, Lacey, Washington, where she passed away with family present.
Born October 25th, 1927 to Myrtle May Herrmann and "Shakey" Bertie Johnson in Bellingham, Washington, she was preceded in death by husband of 64 years, "Rusty" C. H. Anderson, brothers Kenneth O'Connor and Jack Barron and sisters La Vern Barron Abel and Nadine Johnson Scott.
She is survived by children Andy and Sandy Anderson, Upper Lake, California; Trudy A. Mough, Houston, Texas and Rusty-Lynn and Larry Fischer, Lacey, Washington.
She has 8 grandchildren and 14 great grandchildren.
She was a very loving and generous person. She loved to RV, fish and hunt with her husband. Baked fabulous pies and sewed great garments for family. Loved to garden too.
During her 75 years in Ukiah she attended Ukiah Union High School. Was an active member of Ukiah First Baptist Church, serving several offices for Ladies Group; was a 4H leader; danced with the Promanaders; dental assistant for Dr. Blotcher and attended activities at the Ukiah Senior Center.
There will be no services. Private cremation by Rill. Ashes to be placed with husband's.
