Eldean L. Robbins, 76, a resident of Port Orchard, died in Bremerton on July 4, 2010. She was born in Lost Creek, Oregon to Claude and Mary Ruth (Karr) Kyser. She married William L. Robbins, Sr. in Longview, WA on September 30, 1950. He preceded her in death in 2002. She worked for Thriftway as a Grocery Store Clerk for 30 years until her retirement. Eldean was a member of the Port Orchard Eagles Auxiliary #2338; she enjoyed gardening, needlework and art. She also enjoyed cooking, but was an outstanding baker, especially when it came to pies. Her favorite thing in life was her kids, grandkids and great-grandkids. She is survived by her sons William Robbins, Jr. of Ojai, CA, and Gary Robbins of Belfair; daughters Leslie Hawkins (Glenn) of Redmond, OR and Robin Meadows (Jim) of Gig Harbor; brothers Roy Kyser (Shirley) Bill Kyser (Lynn), Melvin, Robert and Raymond Kyser (Dodi); sisters Evelyn Hawkins (Byron) and Esther Odstreil (Joe); four grandchildren Shaun, Ginger, Brittany and Lane and five great-grandchildren. Celebration of Life will be at Rill’s Life Tribute Center on Saturday, July 10, 2010 at 1:00 pm.
